West Coast's domestic lamb comes from Northern California and Colorado. Our California lamb is raised by small ranchers, many 3rd generation, in pastures and finished on a corn and alfalfa diet, making our lamb tender with a mild flavor. Our Colorado lamb is range-fed in the foothills of the Rockies and finished in feed lots on a corn and alfalfa ration. Colorado lamb tends to run a little heavier in weight to produce the large eye racks that many chefs are looking for. In addition to our fresh domestic lamb, we inventory frozen Australian and New Zealand lamb products.
